Lib Dems Candidates Announced

The Liberal Democrats are fielding a full 54 candidates across Bedford Borough for the May 2002 local elections - 9 more than Labour.

With the first all-out elections since 1983, the Liberal Democrats are looking to build on their current positions as the only serious challenger to Labour locally.

The Lib Dem Manifesto for the Bedford Borough elections will be launched on Monday 8 April by Lib Dem Euro MP Andrew Duff in Bedford Town Centre.
