Website scoops Gold Web Award

Bedfordlibdems.org has received an award for web design and the site as a whole - confirming the sites status as one of the best political sites around.

The Golden web Award is judged by a panel of Web Award members, looking at a range of issues from functionality to content. The Bedford Lib Dems site is a 2002-2003 winner of a Golden Web Award.

Season Prater, webmaster of bedfordlibdems.org said:

"We've worked hard to try and make sure the Bedford site was the best - with up to date news, contacts and events. Our ward finder - allowing people to check not just their ward, but where to vote - is the only one in the area, and up to date with the new ward boundaries."

"We're not finished yet - we plan to keep developing the site, making it as useful as possible to local people. It just goes to prove that locally as well as nationally, the Lib Dems ARE the most wired political party."
