Campaign For Decent Local Roads

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Tue 25th Jun 2002

Bedford Lib Dems have launched a campaign for major improvements that are needed to our local roads and footpaths.

Lib Dems across the area are working to highlight examples of poor roads across the area - and they are proving all too easy to find! Campaign organisers say:

"The Tory run County Council has let our roads deteriorate to an unacceptable level. There is now a huge backlog of roads needing total resurfacing. Just patching up the pot holes isn't good enough."

Please support our campaign for decent Bedford roads by signing our petition online - click here.
